CVS Caremark is committed to making Caremark.com accessible to its plan participants, including those with visual and related disabilities. In recent months, we have taken a number of steps to ensure that those who use a keyboard solely for navigation, require accommodations for certain vision needs or are using assistive technologies such as screen readers can more easily interact with the content and applications on Caremark.com. We have been guided in these efforts by federal regulations issued pursuant to the Rehabilitation Act that are designed to make Web sites more accessible, as well as by guidelines promulgated by the World Wide Web Consortium.
Currently, focus has been placed on addressing functionality allowing plan participants to manage their prescriptions. CVS Caremark will periodically monitor and test the functionality of Caremark.com, and will work proactively to find new ways to enhance the overall usability of our Web site going forward.
